Ethics in medicine

Anthroposophic Medicine is fundamentally characterised by the linking of natural and spiritual science. The human being is seen as an entity that is in continuous development throughout life and beyond the threshold of death, whose development does not end with the completion of a single lifetime. Current practice in Anthroposophic Medicine aims as much as possible for participatory decision-making regarding prevention and therapy. Ethical questions are discussed and negotiated against the background of human freedom, on the one hand, and any consequences for the further development of the affected person and the people around him/her.
